But there is a mathematical reality that often gets buried in the pitch deck: The Fee Drag.

A fund might boast a 15% annual return (Gross). But after “2 and 20,” your pocket might only see 10%. Meanwhile, a low-cost S&P 500 index fund might give you 10% with almost zero fees and zero lock-up periods.
